At SSH&D we can design for one room, multiple rooms, or entire homes; turn-key. We choose room layout, paint colors, architectural details, lighting, wall coverings, window treatments, furniture and furnishings to reflect the personality and spirit of your home. The process covers design, purchasing items, tracking items, and installing them. Everything from start to finish.

Let us help you make your deadlines and the right decisions, which can help keep costs in control and timelines on track. We work directly with the contractor or home builder. By covering all those small details, we can create a beautiful and functional design unique to you and your needs.

Designer for a DAY
SERVICE CAN INCLUDE:
Are you stuck with your home design? Maybe you started your re-do, but you're having cold feet about specific elements? With Designer For a Day, you have us at your disposal to answer all your burning questions while also making recommendations. Whatever your questions are, we are all-ears and all-yours for the day to help you bring your home up to its potential.
This service is available in-person or virtually.

While based out of Sanford, NC, we cover all of the Raleigh, Durham and Triangle area. We have also completed projects as far as Charlotte and Wrightsville Beach and are open to helping clients wherever needed. Please reach out for more information.
How far do you travel?
Again, it all depends on scope and scale of what you are looking for in any given room. We do have a purchase minimum of $10,000 for furnishings. For more information, please reach out to set up a Discovery Call.
WILL you just do one room?
We work closely with many contractors in the area and can provide recommendations and help you set up meetings with whomever you choose. We ask that our clients meet with contractors, hire them directly and sign separate contracts with them as well.
Do you offer a contractor?

CAN YOU HELP WITH SELECTING PAINT COLORS?
This can vary depending on what
other projects are on our board at any given time. If you are starting a new build or renovation and know you want a designer’s help, it is best to reach out as soon as possible to get on the schedule and get them involved as early as possible.
HOW FAST CAN WE STARTED ON OUR PROJECT?
An interior designer is a luxury service. The scope and scale of your specific project will dictate the cost of our services. Following your in person consultation, we will provide a proposal with a flat rate price for the creative services for your project. We are very upfront with our cost and avoid surprise fees as much as possible.
